Exceptional growth has led us to create a new position of Area Sales Manager (Scotland). This role will suit a highly professional, self-driven, responsible and motivated individual.

Role overview
The successful candidate will provide field-based sales support for the Spread-a-Bale product range in Scotland as well as playing a key role in supporting both sales and marketing initiatives, helping to execute strategies that strengthen the brand and contribute towards revenue growth.
Day to day responsibilities include
- Managing and developing the dealer network including establishing sales targets and objectives and maintaining appropriate dealer stocking levels
- Achieving overall territory sales targets within guidelines for costs, profit and margins
- Ensuring that dealer visits are planned and carried out on a regular basis to keep Spread-a-Bale business at the forefront of the dealer’s sales activities
- Actively planning and implementing sales/marketing activities in conjunction with dealers to ensure area sales potential is being met
- Liaising with both dealer / customer and its appropriate territory after sales manager to facilitate a satisfactory and prompt response to all technical queries and issues
- Managing product demonstrations in an efficient, professional, productive and safe manner
- Conducting product training on a regular basis with dealer sales staff, either in the field, at the dealer’s premises or our factory
- Expanding the customer base for our products by identifying new customers and opportunities
- Supporting the company at national, regional, and local shows, working events and dealer open days, acting as an ambassador for Spread-a-Bale at all times
The ideal candidate
- Will have a comprehensive knowledge of the agricultural dealer network as well as relevant, practical experience in all livestock sectors
- Highly motivated and driven, with a passion for sales and relationship building across our dealer network
- Ability to motivate and train dealer staff to sell the Spread-a-Bale product range
- A self-starter with exceptional interpersonal skills, the ability to engage, negotiate and go the extra mile
- Goal-oriented, with a focus on achieving long-term growth and success
- Strong organizational and computer skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Clean driving licence essential
