Spread-a-Bale is a pleasure to use; it’s made a hard job very easy daily bedding up the calving and calf sheds.

 Since mechanizing the job, we’ve been able to cut time spent spreading straw from over an hour a day to 10 to 15 minutes, while we’ve cut the amount of straw used by a fifth.

We’ve gone from manual to Spread-a-Bale and we can say it’s a good time saving machine.

During the busy calving season, we used to spend 30 minutes each day manually spreading two round bales. Nowadays, Spread-a-Bale spreads one bale within a minute or two.
